Sonata Arctica
Sonata Arctica!!! What can I say about them…hmmm that they hail from the dark depths of Finland. The band was born in 1996 in Kemi, Finland. First the name started off as Tricky Beans, then they changed it to Trycky Means. Finally in summer of 1999 they changed their name to Sonata Arctica which that same year they recorded their first single Unopened. At that time the line-up consisted of Tony (vocals/keyboards), Jani (guitars), Tommy (drums), and Janne (bass). This single brought them into the power metal scene. Then, their line up changed to Elias as guitars and Marco as bass. Now they are about to start a North American tour in support of Dragonforce, but they are playing a couple of headlining shows. On September 17, 2009 they are playing at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana which i am going to go 
. I’m very excited eventhough this will be my fourth time seeing them!!! They always play awesome shows. Well here are a couple of songs from their new album The Days of Grays and other albums as well so enjoy!
